Prepare estimate from customer-submitted plans and specifications.
Project Planning Implementation:
All major projects are planned and implemented
to the following format:
Project Planning:
Using in-house staff, computer driven Project
Management Systems and Design.
ACL employs critical path analysis (CPA) to plan, control
and monitor all major projects.
Project Implementation:
i) Formally appoint contract engineer necessary to commence the works agreed.
ii) Submit names and contact details to the customer.
iii) Convene a planning meeting with all key project personnel to discuss and agree all project requirements including: design, purchasing, planning, test and inspection procedures, QA strategy, Health and Safety Policy, testing and commissioning requirements and projected cash flow.
iv) Conclusion of all information to allow the project to be progressed.
i) Revise CPA as necessary and submit to
the customer,.
ii) Produce first fit drawings.
iii) Produce general equipment layout drawings.
iv) Order specialised equipment on long lead times
i) Contract Engineer to keep draughtsman updated with any changes to allow the production of revised drawings as necessary.
ii) Contract Engineer with Site Supervisor
to attend site for familiarisation.
i) Contract Engineer to attend site to plan site establishment.
ii) Set up site establishment.
iii) Organise site operatives to accept all necessary deliveries of site plant and necessary installation materials.
iv) Continue production of updated drawings and specifications, as required.
v) Submit any revisions to Customer for final
approval.
i) Upon approval of revised drawings and specifications, first fix installation will commence.
ii) Completion of first fix installation.
iii) Revision of drawings and specifications.
iv) Test and inspection of first fix installation. .
v) Handover of first fix installation to customer.
i) Commencement of second fix installation.
ii) Completion of second fix installation.
iii) Final revision of drawings and Specifications.
iv) Final test and inspection.
v) Full system commissioning procedure.
vi) Handover of system, together with all final drawings, specifications, test
certificates, installation and maintenance documentation.
i) Draw up ongoing maintenance schedule.
ii) Submit maintenance schedule and pricing policy to the customer.
i) Subject to customer acceptance and approvals.
Commencement of regular routine maintenance programme.
